In the words of Jay-Z . . . allow us to introduce ourselves

HI there! We’re George and Rachael, owners and therapists at Radiant Counseling & Wellness Collective. We’re hopeful that you’re reading this with curiosity, and interest in knowing more about us and what we do at Radiant.

A Little bit about us

We initially crossed paths during our freshman year in college through mutual friends. George attended UNT, while I, Rachael, was enrolled at TWU. Like many college friendships, we eventually lost touch as we each ventured into different cities and lifestyles, heading in separate directions. Neither of us could have imagined that a decade later, we would reconnect after being hired at the same job. It’s interesting how the universe works, bringing you exactly where you need to be at just the right moment

Upon reconnecting, we quickly became best friends. We bonded over our shared passion for community, a desire to help, and a commitment to mental health. While collaborating, we recognized the significance of serving our community in a manner that values individuals’ stories, provides solace amid turmoil, and facilitates healing from past challenges. This realization sparked the creation of Radiant Counseling & Wellness Collective.

You may wonder what distinguishes us from other counseling groups. While we provide all the conventional services you would expect—such as individual and group therapy, couples and marital counseling, as well as parenting and life coaching—we also bring our specialized knowledge in supporting your child’s success at school. Additionally, we offer printable resources designed for use at home, helping you create an environment conducive to behavior change and tranquility.

With our extensive experience in hospitals, schools, and non-profit organizations, we provide a well-rounded team of knowledgeable professionals. At Radiant, our primary mission is to champion the change we wish to see in the world. We believe that mental health is a fundamental right, not a privilege, and we strive to make our services accessible to all. We hope this initial blog post has offered you some insight into who we are and what we do. If you’d like to learn more, please visit our website and reach out to us. We would love to hear from you!
